Why small groups

Every question gets answered. No one hides in the back.

A full classroom moves at one speed. A group of 4 moves at your child's, with enough classmates to keep it lively and few enough that nobody slips through.

  • Built around this week

Sessions start from what your child is actually working on in class, not a canned curriculum.

  • Follows the NYS curriculum

Aligned with what New York State classrooms teach, so the help carries straight back to class.

  • Small on purpose

With exactly 4 students there's time for everyone, and kids learn from each other's questions.

  • Taught by teachers

Led by local classroom teachers who know these courses and exactly where students tend to get stuck.

Students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Search by your zip code, grade and subject to see which tutors are near you and teach what your child needs.

Why groups of exactly four?

Four is small enough that every student gets real attention and every question gets answered, and big enough that students learn from each other's questions too. It also keeps the price at $40 per student.

Can I book for more than one student?

Yes. Book seats for your own kids, a friend, or a full group of 4. Anyone can also grab a single seat and the rest of the group fills in with other students.

What if the group doesn't fill up?

The session still happens at the same price, $40 per student, with however many students signed up.

What will my child actually work on?

Whatever they are working on that week. Bring homework, notes or an upcoming test topic, and the session is built around it rather than a canned curriculum.
